Born on October 5, 1978, Jonathon grew up in Mobile, Alabama where he received his primary education. Jonathon graduated from St. Paul’s Episcopal School and attended Auburn University.
While at Auburn, Jonathon served as a trainer at the Institute for Biological Detection Systems, training government issued German shepherds for bomb detection for the United States Army. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alfa national fraternity.
After graduating from Auburn with a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Vocational and Adult Education, Jonathon attended Cumberland School of Law where he obtained his J.D. degree in 2004. While at Cumberland, Jonathon was a member of the Henry Upson Simms Moot Court Board, the National Trial Team and President of the Cumberland Community Service Organization. Jonathon also served as a Judge Abrahams Caruthers Fellow Teaching Assistant, and was the Articles’ Editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy.
Jonathon joined Daniell, Upton, Perry & Morris, P.C. following graduation, and works in the firm’s Alabama litigation practice. He became a member of the American, and Alabama Bar Associations in September, 2004, and is admitted to practice in the Southern, Middle and Northern Districts of Alabama.
Jonathon became a partner with the firm in January, 2010. He specializes in construction litigation, condominium law, products liability and bad faith insurance litigation.
Jonathon and his wife, Beth McMurphy Law, have a young son, Roberts. The Law family currently resides in Mobile where they attend Ashland Place United Methodist Church.
