David A. Busby
David was born in Mobile, Alabama on July 5, 1973, and grew up in Fairhope, Alabama, where he received his primary education. David graduated from Fairhope High School in 1992. David attended Troy University on an academic scholarship. While attending Troy, he was a member of the Gamma Beta Honor Society, Environmental Club, and the Sigma Alpha Epsilon National Fraternity. In 1996, David graduated Cum Laude from Troy with a BS in Environmental Science. After graduating from Troy, David attended Mississippi College School of Law on an academic scholarship. He graduated Cum Laude and obtained his J.D. degree in 1999. David is a member of the Mississippi Bar (admitted 1999), Alabama Bar (admitted 2004), Georgia Bar (admitted 2005), and the Texas Bar (admitted 2005). David is admitted to practice in all courts in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Texas, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. David is also a member of the Baldwin County Bar Association and the American Association for Justice. David joined the firm in 2008, and works in the firm’s Alabama litigation practice, where he focuses on the areas of construction litigation, condominium law, personal injury, products liability, and bad faith litigation. David, his wife, Joanna, and their daughter, Nicole, reside in Fairhope where they attend the Fairhope United Methodist Church. In his spare time, David enjoys hunting, fishing, exercising, and watching Auburn beat Alabama.
